PERSONAL HISTORY
Born in Virginia, USA. Graduated at University of Virginia (1983), M. Sc. from University of California - Los Angeles (1986), Ph.D. from University of California - Los Angeles (1990). Post-doc at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Sabbatical at Grenoble, France. Currently Professor at Department of Physics and Astronomy at Iowa State University and Senior Scientist at Ames Laboratory.
