Phillips (WLH):

Daytime scans are limited to 100 minutes. Maximum of two 100 minute scans per day per person.

Contact Fran Laabs if your needs exceed the current limits.

Longer runs must be conducted over-night

Scintag (SPD):

Limit long scans to after hours

PANalytical (SPD):

Limit long scans to after hours

Time limits: one four-hour session per person per week. One week advanced sign-up only.

Mornings are for walk-in use only.
(i.e. 8 am to Noon)

Noon to 1 pm is a "buffer" time

Afternoons are for scheduled use only
(i.e. 1pm to 5+ pm)

Routine Maintenance and training is conducted on Monday mornings (even if the schedule does not have that time blocked off)

If you are 1/2 hour late your time slot is released for others to use.
CM 30 TEM & TECNAI F20
Time limits: one four-hour session per person per week. Two weeks advanced sign-up only.

Routine Maintenance is conducted on Fridays for CM30 (even if the schedule does not have that time blocked off)

If you are 1/2 hour late your time slot is released for others to use.
Equipment owner/custodian reserves the right to override the schedule for maintenance and/or other justified reasons. Abuse of the scheduling system or equipment may result in loss of access. Electron Microscope instruments may require significant training before full use or scheduling permission is available.

Use is limited to the Materials and Engineering Physics staff for on-site use only.

Reservations are to be made through the MEP Program Office, 126 MD, 4-5655

Check-out and return of the projector is to be done at the MEP Program office.

Users are responsible for the security and proper maintenance of the projector.

The projector must be returned to the Program Office IMMEDIATELY upon completing you scheduled event.
